November 2022 Taurus Overview Horoscope
It’s relationship high season, and you’re smack in the middle of the action. November opens in between two seismic eclipses on the Taurus/Scorpio axis. Who are you? Where do others fit in? What do you want for yourself and your partnerships?
This is the second? wave of an eclipse series that began with a Taurus lunar eclipse November 19, 2021, and you’ve been feeling the massive changes ever since. November 8 marks the third Taurus eclipse in this two-year series—a total lunar one, no less. With intense aspects to Uranus, Saturn and Mercury, this blood moon’s got “big changes” written all over it for your identity and your career.
After an October 25 Scorpio solar eclipse in your relationship house, your closest ties will be reshaped by these events. Consider who you want to be surrounded by, Taurus: With the Sun moving through the most committed sectors of your chart (Scorpio and Sagittarius), it’s important to align your priorities and plans.
Observing Thanksgiving in the USA this November 24? Eclipse shakeups or not, this year’s skies look surprisingly peaceful, outside of a lingering Mars-Neptune square. Four planets will be in Sagittarius and your intimate eighth house, setting the stage for cozy and quiet celebrations.
Even better? The day before, November 23, features a Sagittarius new moon and buoyant Jupiter returning to direct motion after a four-month retrograde. Sure, the bar is low after a few years of political meltdowns and pandemic-thwarted plans. (And we WILL be fresh out of midterm elections…) Still, we haven’t tasted this recipe for holiday cheer in a while. Pass the cranberry sauce—and not on Zoom this year, please!
Partner up! It’s Scorpio season until November 22
Relationships take the main stage in November as the Sun travels through Scorpio and your partnership house until November 22, heating up the most committed zone of your chart. Whether for romance or business, you’re in the mood to make things official. Things could already be progressing in that direction faster than planned, thanks to the October 25 Scorpio solar eclipse.
This should be (mostly) music to your Taurean ears since your sign likes to settle into a simpatico groove with one compatible person or entity. Bring on the win-win scenarios! Firm and mutually beneficial arrangements work SO much better for you because they allow you to build something tangible and get a satisfying return on your investment.
It’s a good time to balance your bonds and lean on others for a little extra support. Scorpio is your opposite sign, so with the Sun at its farthest distance from Taurus in the sky, your own “solar power” could be a little dim. You’re always there to provide for everyone. Now’s your chance to call in a few favors and let friends come through for you.
The November 8 Taurus full moon is a total lunar eclipse
Get ready for a power surge, Taurus! On November 8, there’s not only a full blood moon in YOUR sign, it happens to be a total lunar eclipse. Translation: A megawatt spotlight is beaming directly on you and your goals. This is the third Taurus lunar eclipse in a series of eclipses that began a year ago and will ripple across the Taurus/Scorpio axis between now and October 28, 2023. Look back to November 19, 2021, the first eclipse, for clues of what will get another wave of dynamic and disruptive energy now.
These eclipses will radically recalibrate the balance between “me” and “we,” giving your identity AND your closest partnerships a bold makeover. In Taurus, this first lunar eclipse will spotlight any parts of your life where you’re not being your truest and most original self. Don’t be surprised if your ideas start attracting attention out of the blue. You might also get the urge to make over your whole look.
Lunar eclipses bring sudden turning points, endings and awakenings. A chapter of your life may be over—at least in its current form—and resistance is futile. Rather than cling on, it’s time to finally release this situation, or even just walk away. There may be no other choice. You’ll now clearly see where things aren’t going to work out as you intended, no matter how much willpower you exert.
Adding to the plot twists, this particular eclipse will make contact with a number of planets. The full moon is conjunct Uranus, the planet of sudden changes, which is also in Taurus. The moon-Uranus duo will be caught in a tense T-square with tough Saturn (in your tenth house of long-term goals, career and boundaries) and a Sun-Mercury-Venus trio in Scorpio (your partnership sector). Feeling pulled between your personal desires, other people’s needs and your big-picture aims? That’s the whirlwind this eclipse will stir up.
Getting everyone on board for your dreams and schemes might not be as easy as you anticipated—but that could be a blessing in disguise. Even if things feel smooth in a potential partnership, Saturn at the apex of this square advises that you put clear expectations in place. Without that “container,” it will be hard to grow into something that satisfies everyone. The last thing you need is for your own reinvention process to devolve into petty squabbling over who gets which piece of the pie. Spell it out clearly, Bull!
The November 19 Mars-Neptune square
Security or freedom? You’re pulled uncomfortably between both at the second of three confounding squares between nebulous Neptune in your freedom-loving eleventh house and anxious Mars in your security sector. Lending or borrowing money among friends can be especially tricky—avoid it if you can! Look back to the first Mars-Neptune square on October 12 for clues of what could surface again now. Since Mars is retrograde (backward) now, this one could be especially intense, forcing you to deal with a money or lifestyle issue you’ve swept under the rug.
The final one will arrive on March 14, 2023, so look ahead for resolution to whatever tension comes up now. Can you collaborate with a creative group without sacrificing security? Are your friendships helping you evolve as a person? Take a keen look at the company you’re keeping for clues now.
November 22: Sun enters Sagittarius and November 23 Sagittarius new moon
You’ll have a chance to explore your deepest bonds—and examine which are truly worth the investment—starting November 22, when the Sun plunges into Sagittarius and your eighth house of merging, intimacy and shared resources. Get ready to swim in the deeper end of the emotional pool for the next four weeks, looking at where you’re expending energy (time, attention, money) and what you’re getting in return. No, not everything has to be a scoreboard or done for personal gain. But there are only so many hours in a day, Taurus: Why not spend them on things that bring satisfaction and security?
During Sagittarius season, you might crave more privacy and perhaps the exclusive company of a special person who’s proven to be a loyal (and sexy!) catch. The eighth house is the most erotic zone of the chart, and a mind-body-soul connection could heat up. This zodiac sector also rules joint financial ventures. Look at ways you can pool your talents and assets for mutual gain.
A powerful and well-connected person could bring you into their world, especially near the November 23 Sagittarius new moon. This is a day to plant seeds for long-term wealth, perhaps related to real estate, investments or other shrewd money moves. Actions you take now will develop over the coming six months, between now and the Sagittarius full moon in six months. If you’re thinking about making things permanent with a romantic partner—or talking babies, buying a home or another binding move—this new moon opens the door to discuss that.
Jupiter retrograde ends November 23
No matter what shifts come to your relationships and personal life during eclipse season, community is calling! On November 23, expansive Jupiter ends a four-month retrograde, powering forward in Pisces and your eleventh house of teamwork and technology until December 20.
This is the last of Jupiter’s three trips through Pisces that have been happening since May 2021. A budding collaboration or an online venture could pick up one last burst of speed before the year ends. With global Jupiter at the helm, like-minded members of Team Taurus can emerge from far-flung corners. You could connect with a fresh crew through social media or travel. Stay open to new faces and places!
